Soy Candle Care

Soy wax is a soft, non-toxic wax that burns cleanly and evenly if you follow these best practices for care and safety.

Burn at your own risk on a fire-resistant surface, away from flammables, fabrics, children and pets. Never leave a candle burning unattended. Never burn a candle more than 2-3 hours at a time.

Upon first burn, allow wax pool to reach the edges of the container. This prevents tunneling and promotes even burning throughout the life of your candle.

Use a wick trimmer to trim the wick between each burn. This promotes clean burning by eliminating the carbon ball that can form while ignited.

Burn no longer than 2-3 hours at a time. This elongates the scent life of your candle. The longer a candle burns, the hotter it burns, which increases the amount of scent burned.

Discontinue use when only 1/4-inch of wax remains. Remove the wick, wipe out the jar, wash with hot water and soap, then reuse or recycle it. Great re-uses for jars are -- pens & pencils, makeup & paint brushes, paper clips & rubber bands, lipsticks & eye pencils, small craft supplies, and doo-dads of all kinds.
